Beautiful butterflies at the Butterfly Pavilion.

Laurel, you would love the green ones. I tried to get a picture of the real one but it wouldn't land.

Today we went to the Butterfly Pavilion.

There was a water area where the kids could touch horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs, starfish, pencil urchins, etc.

Excellent dinner by an excellent chef...

Finally got a picture of my brother after about 10 tries (because he can't be serious enough for 5 minutes). He made a delicious dinner of marinated tri-tips with a bleu cheese cream sauce and scalloped potatoes and mom made a yummy salad with a champagne dressing. I tried their syrah...Chuck, you would love this wine...you should go see if you can find it.

After Dino Ridge, we went over the ridge to Red Rocks. Nannie, Tyler, Ruby & I took a little break while we waited on Christie & Gavin. If you look closely, you can see the Denver skyline in the background.

Right before this picture, we were climbing on the rocks and we heard music..."THE ICE CREAM MAN IS COMING!!" I yelled! Luckily I had $2.00 in my pocket! That amount of money didn't allow many choices, but Tyler was happy with the fact that he could get an ice cream!

they didn't get to ride long because they had to stop the train and move all the people back to allow for the helicopter to land. We had a front row seat! It was really cool...the copter circled many times and finally landed about 30 feet in front of us. We got pelted with dust and debris and my camera won't open now due to all the dust, but it was worth it!
